χαλκολίβανον : bronze ; exact substance unidentified.
κάμινος : furnace.
πεπυρωμένης : perfect passive feminine participle of πυρόω burn, refine ; πεπυρωμένης feminine and genitive defies explanation as it stands; amendments are suggested but these have poor manuscript support.
