Transliteration (Accordance):
alla ho ochlos houtos ho mē ginōskōn ton nomon eparatoi eisin.
Translation (ESV)
But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed."
Analysis (Zerwick):γινώσκων : participle of γινώσκω know.
ἐπάρατος : accursed.

Transliteration (Accordance):
legei Nikodēmos pros autous, ho elthōn pros auton [to] proteron, heis ōn ex autōn
Translation (ESV)
Nicodemus, who had gone to him before, and who was one of them, said to them
Analysis (Zerwick):ἐλθών : aorist participle of ἔρχομαι: ὁ ἐλθών (relative past) the one who had come.
τὸ πρότερον : adverb before, earlier.
ὤν : participle of εἰμί be.

μὴ ὁ νόμος ἡμῶν κρίνει τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐὰν μὴ ἀκούσῃ πρῶτον παρ᾿ αὐτοῦ καὶ γνῷ τί ποιεῖ;
Transliteration (Accordance):
mē ho nomos hēmōn krinei ton anthrōpon ean mē akousȩ̄ prōton par’ autou kai gnō̧ ti poiei?
Translation (ESV)
"Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?"
Analysis (Zerwick):κρίνω : judge in sense of condemn ; apodosis of a universal condition introduced by ἐὰν.
ἀκούσῃ : aorist subjunctive of ἀκούω ; ἐὰν μὴ ἀκούσῃ πρῶτον παρ᾿ αὐτοῦ without hearing his defense.
πρῶτον : first
γνῷ : aorist subjunctive 3rd singular of γινώσκω ascertain, make certain of.

ἐραύνησον καὶ ἴδε ὅτι ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας προφήτης οὐκ ἐγείρεται.
Transliteration (Accordance):
eraunēson kai ide hoti ek tēs Galilaias prophētēs ouk egeiretai.
Translation (ESV)
Search and see that no prophet arises from Galilee."
Analysis (Zerwick):ἐραύνησον : aorist imperative of ἐραυνάω search, investigate.
ἴδε : aorist imperative of ὁράω ; under Semitic influence the second of two imperatives often contains the result of the former, inquire and you will see.
ἐγείρεται : passive of ἐγείρω raise, rise, passive sometimes intransitive arise ; ἐγείρεται ἐκ emanate/come from.

Transliteration (Accordance):
en de tō̧ nomō̧ hēmin Mōusēs eneteilato tas toiautas lithazein. sy oun ti legeis?
Translation (ESV)
Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?"
Analysis (Zerwick):ἐνετείλατο : aorist of ἐντέλλομαι ordain, give instructions.
τοιοῦτος : such a one, feminine plural τοιαύτας such women.
λιθάζειν : infinitive of λιθάζω (from λίθος stone) stone (to death).
