question from the faithful saints
hi there, i have a small request, i don't know where else i could post this,
but i have a question for those who are actively involved in a ministry or on their way there.
I want to know how you came to discern your special call into full time ministry as appose to the common and universal call of the great commission, and how did you get the conviction and confirmation from the Lord to make your move towards a seminary?
my reason for wanting to know is simply because i'm considering going to bible college and have a passion for it, but don't know that would be enough of a good reason to make the move but want to ensure that the Lord is leading me through this, I have prayed for discernment and confirmation. Perhaps you can sharpen and clarify my judgment and convictions from hearing your testimonies.
thank you."I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." C.S Lewis

Re: question from the faithful saints
I'm not a minister, but I say that if you want to do it, just do it. This idea about a special calling is mostly bogus.

If there's something else besides full-time ministry you can see yourself doing, do it. If not, go for it.
