Wow! You made it! Here you are in the Admissions and Orientation Department of Tweb! This is where the rubber first hits the road; where the pedal first hits the metal; where the nuts come out of the woodwork to make sure you feel at home here.

The Admissions area is only for welcome posts to announce the arrival of a new inmate resident, and we encourage you to leave here and head out into the great big wide world of Tweb as soon as you feel comfortable in your new username.

Be sure to reply to your welcome thread, or introduce yourself if our welcome committee is out to lunch or painting their living room.

    Howdy,
I'm Mike, from the eastern part of Canada. I'm a Presbyterian Church in Canada minister (or teaching elder), and have been since 2002.
Not sure what else to say. I'm single, not looking, and am addicted to watching Bible reviews on Youtube.
I've had a long academic interest in Buddhism, but am not (obviously) a Buddhist. I'm quite happy with Jesus.
Okay, I suppose that's enough for now.
    Pax Christi,
    GM

    Welcome, Mike!

We Canucks have to watch our backs around here, so it's nice to have a fellow igloo-dweller!

Securely anchored to the Rock amid every storm of trial, testing or tribulation.

      Welcome, Mike!
"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

        Nice to meet you!
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)

You southerners are okay, at least judging by mossrose. Welcome from an Alaskan.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Glad you're not lookin' at me....
Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist

              Welcome to Tweb

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
