Does god speak in the New Testament?

Start your own thread then. That wasn't the question I asked.

You asked for Christian response to the question "does God speak in the NT" and I gave you a Christian response. From a Christian perspective if one were to find the Father in the NT, then one would expect to find the Son in the OT. It's difficult to separate the concept.

I had to re-think this and perhaps I did hijack your thread, my apologies if I did this. I'll start a new thread dealing with Jesus in the Old Testament, hopefully I'll see you there.
