During a statement to reporters on Monday, National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster stated Washington Post report that President Trump revealed highly classified information to Russia’s foreign minister is “false.”

McMaster said, “The story that came out tonight, as reported is false. The president and the foreign minister reviewed a range of common threats to our two countries, including threats to civil aviation. At no time, at no time, were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known. Two other senior officials who were present, including the secretary of state, remember the meeting the same way and have said so. Their on the record accounts should outweigh those of anonymous sources. And I was in the room, it didn’t happen.”

Seems it was quickly established the story was nonsense made up by WaPo within a few posts. FWIW, the story has also been denied by a number of officials (including General McMaster, who was in the room when it allegedly happened), although give the glaring contradictions exposed, this is more like the cherry on the fake news cake. So what does Trump hypothetically giving classified information to the Russians have to do with the steaming pile of manure you tried to pass off as "news"? There's nothing to be interested in here, other than to just make yet another amusing observation that for a super smart atheist with a really high IQ who is also a scientist you seem surprisingly easy to dupe.

What he denied was that Trump gave away the sources of the info. whereas the allegation is that Trump shared some information about laptops on planes which potentially put a source at risk and was given to the US by an ally who did not give consent for that to be shared with Russia. It's just incredible that the under educated ignoramuses who support Trump defend him come what may.
