    • MM would believe it was a gourmet meal if a Breitbart article told him it was, or if a NYT or WaPo or CNN article said it wasn't.

      • "They're not vague suspicions! And to prove it, here are some vague suspicions!"

        Nice "own goal" there, kiddo.

As for this Kushner rumor, things don't quite add up if you really think about (I know, liberals aren't into this whole "thinking" phenomenon).

        Consider:

The Washington Post supposedly got a letter detailing this information back in December. Why did they sit on it so long? And why are they being so coy about the details now? Some have begun to speculate that the letter may not even exist, or that it's another "dossier" full of unverified (meaning false) information, and this is why the Post is playing it so close to the vest. The Post itself even describes it as an "anonymous letter", which is certainly suspicious. The first clue that you're dealing with fake news is when the story doesn't give a specific attribution.

Second, why would Kushner be setting up these supposed "back-channels" after the election? Remember, Kushner was hired as part of the transition team. If the Russian conspiracy is true then the Trump team would have already had their "back-channels" in place so they could collude with Russia to win the election. According to the Post, the Russian ambassador was supposedly "taken aback by the suggestion" from Kushner, which doesn't make any sense. Why would he be "taken aback" if Trump was already in league with Putin? If this story is true, doesn't it pretty much blow-up the Russian collusion accusations?

Finally, if we grant that this is true, what crime was actually committed? Well that's an easy answer: none.

The wheels are coming off this liberal narrative so fast that you have to duck to avoid the shrapnel.

The crime, if proved, is collusion with a hostile power in subverting the US democratic processes.

You're still desperately clinging to that discredited nonsense? That anonymous statement that didn't make any specific accusation and offered zero evidenceto to support its innuendos? And in the meantime, we've learned that the CIA knows how to leave digital fingerprints implicating other governments along with suggestions that there was no hack at all and it was all the work of a Democrat insider.

Assuming these wild-eyed conspiracy theories are even true, what law was actually broken? Name the specific legal statute, if you can.

Oh, has the US intelligence community retracted their unanimous statement formally accusing Russia of being behind the hacking of the Democratic National Committee? Answer, no they have not.

So that the FBI has selected former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel in the Russia investigation. This constitutes a major escalation of the investigation. But don't let any of this interfere with your Breitbart fuelled blanket denial, kiddo.

When a person's goal is to find fault with [insert politician here] at any cost there is no reason for continued conversation.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

I continue to be impressed with your level of ignorance on matters of US national security policy.

I forget where I read this (may have been on this forum) but one of the reasons some people focus on an individual (like Trump or Hillary) is because they've no core beliefs.
They need a defining evil in their lives to organize their thoughts around - it offers order for a mind otherwise full of chaos.

I appreciate you filling that role for me. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have 'Literally Hitler' Meh Gerbil to focus on...

If MG doesn't suffice, I am happy to provide that focus for anyone who needs it. That is why my user title says "Troll Magnet"
