The problem is that there are alot of us here (the ones that are Orthodox Preterists) that believe that the Tribulation has come and gone in the 1st century AD....so, that may be why your not getting alot of responses.

Of course, if you are a futurist, and you are post-trib, then you are obviously reluctant to push the button, because that means a LOT of hardship for you and everyone you know. If you are pre-trib, then you would probably not want to push it until you knew where everyone you care about stood in their walk with God. If I were one of the two futurist views, then I would only push it if I knew I could no longer persuade those that are nearest and dearest to me to accept Christ and be "saved". There would be too much grief otherwise.

To avoid a personal conflict over the issue as a Futerist you could pass the butten over to a preterist, who would push it to prove to you nothing would happen. If nothing happened,you will have learned something. If Christians are immediately raptured make sure you have your finger pointed at the Preterist till others notice who is holding the button.

This however, makes no sense...if the rapture is true, then I would be raptured right along with you...and, the button would be left behind, like everything else...so...how are you going to point to the one "holding" it?

You know, those guys just get off way to easy. He could be like one of those guys who after voting in an election goes around saying, "I did'nt vote for that idiot", like everybody does'nt know better.

True...but in the case of the preterist...at least if or when nothing happened, HE could point to the futurist AND the button and say: "see, I told ya"...
