Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
Lessons on Living from the book of Psalms...
    Shalom!

“Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O Lord—how long? Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love.” (Psalm 6:2–4, ESV)

”...For my bones are troubled…” Because I have two artificial hips I limp my way through life so today’s scripture has a familiar ring to me. However, as I reflect on the ways I have been blessed I can honestly say, “Thank God for troubled bones.” Because God has ministered to me though my troubled bones, therefore I KNOW Jesus will minister to my troubled soul. What’s my biggest Jesus blocker? Impatience! But because I can no longer walk at a fast pace God continues to discipline me to have patience and I am getting better.

How about you? What maladies have or are troubling you? What ever they are – no matter how devastating they may seem the ministry of Jesus will turn lumps of coal into spiritual diamonds. I know this to be true from personal experience and because, “The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer.” (Psalm 6:9, ESV) What God did for David he did for me and what God did for me he’ll do for you!

God wants to bless you in ways that make not now seem clear you only need to place your trust in him. The good news is God gives us the trust-ability we need to trust in him! “Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:24, ESV)

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all today and everyday as you place your trust in God.
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary

Amen Gary!!! As it happens regularly with your messages, this message resonates with what I'm going through right now.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
