Cure for AIDS found in Tanzania

I deeply respect their culture and think God Emperor Stephen Harper I's first act as Overlord of Canada should be to send these people millions of dollars in foreign aid.DAR ES SALAAM (Reuters) – Hundreds of albinos are thought to have been killed for black magic purposes in Tanzania and albino girls are being raped because of a belief they offer a cure for AIDS, a Canadian rights group said on Thursday.
At least 63 albinos, including children, are known to have been killed, mostly in the remote northwest of the country."Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

What I want to know is where the heck does one find hundreds of albinos? That condition is so rare you're not likely to run into more than a handful of albino people in your entire life unless you specifically seek them out.
Here I am!

Re: Cure for AIDS found in Tanzania
They're probably desperate enough that they're just classifying some extra pale people as albinos even though they're not true albinos (though that could be a humorous sketch where one of these people finds an albino lion...).
Funny thing is, we have a cure for AIDS: strict and harsh quarantine of all infected. Of course, we don't resort to this because it would be cruel and inhuman. However, articles like this (and the virgin thing) make my compassion waiver..."One develops a cool and ironic sense of bitter humor, as well as a bloated ego, and this personality characteristic is the defining trait of atheists ancient and modern. If there is a meek and humble atheist or sorcerer brimming with the milk of human kindness, I have yet to meet him." -John C Wright
"Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.”"
— Robert A. Heinlein
"America's political system used to be about the pursuit of happiness. Now More and more of us want to stop chasing it and have it delivered."
"The government cannot love you, and any politics that works on a different assumption is destined for no good."
"Government money only pays for the "liberties" the government thinks you should have, and therefore it can determine how you exercise them. That turns liberties into privileges dispensed at the whim of the state."
