The age old question
The value and naturalness of homosexuality must be as scientifically clear as the fact that the earth is round. Then the acceptance of homosexuality will not crumble when the political pendulum next swings - Joan Roughgarden
A society that believes the body is somehow diseased, painful, sinful or wrong is going to create social institutions that wreak destruction on the body of the earth itself - Paula Gunn Allen

Re: The Xavier Spam Thread...
If I have a mystical experience, an experience that's so overwhelming that I know now that there's a God, the cognitive fallout from that is irrelevant. The fact that that experience can be explained by psychologists in numerous ways is irrelevant to the fact that I now know.

Good morning, Bob and XMM!
"Why not let people differ about their answers to the great mysteries of the Universe? Let each seek one's own way to the highest, to one's own sense of supreme loyalty in life, one's ideal of life. Let each philosophy, each worldview bring forth its truth and beauty to a larger perspective, that people may grow in vision, stature, and dedication." ~ Algernon Black
