Try to keep it civil though. The rules still apply here.

How did you reach the conclusion? Did you talk to all anti-Trump people? How do you even know what all anti-Trump people think apart from the fact that they are anti-Trump? And they may be that for quite many reasons.Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Don't worry. If say the sky is blue, Charles would demand to know how I can be certain of that and maybe other people have valid reasons for believing it is pink. Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

We don't want that garbage in here.Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

Originally posted by Mountain Man View PostSome commentators have noticed that Trump was treated with so much respect overseas while he is treated with derision at home, which is an odd contrast. Netanyahu seemed absolutely thrilled to once again be meeting with a President who has earned Israel's respect, unlike Obama who went out of his way to insult our allies.
Even liberal hack Bob Scheifhfer conceded that Trump looked Presidential as he met with Middle Eastern leaders.

Of course it helps when you don't have a president who grovels at the feet of foreign leaders.“He felt that his whole life was a kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.” - Douglas Adams.

Yeah, totally no grovelling whatsoever...
What was Trump supposed to do, stubbornly stand at attention and force the 81 year old Saudi King, who is approximately half a foot shorter than he is to stretch so you and your ilk could wail about how rude Trump is humiliating King Salman like that?
Unlike Obama who, in spite of his denials to the contrary, bowed before foreign leaders on his notorious apology tour[1], Trump was not bowing.
obama-bows-saudi-king.jpg
Now, that folks, is what bowing before someone looks like
As MRC pointed out
That in contrast to how Obama kept his legs straight and, well, bowed, at the waist. His bowing actually made Japanese leaders uncomfortable in that they described it as the sort of greeting that a low level servant gives his lord.
This Washington Post generated story is nothing but another example of the Fake News that Trump has been decrying.
1. The Obama Administration later claimed he bowed merely to go eye-to-eye with other leaders who he was taller than. Horse feathers. The shortest leader he met during his apology tour was Queen Elizabeth and she was the only leader he didn't bow to. Excluding her was yet another in your face insult to the country that has been our chief ally over the last century that Obama made a point of doing upon becoming president.
