I figured out a while ago that people who are anti-Trump really aren't anti-Trump, they're anti-America. That helps put everything into its proper perspective.

How did you reach the conclusion? Did you talk to all anti-Trump people? How do you even know what all anti-Trump people think apart from the fact that they are anti-Trump? And they may be that for quite many reasons.

Some commentators have noticed that Trump was treated with so much respect overseas while he is treated with derision at home, which is an odd contrast. Netanyahu seemed absolutely thrilled to once again be meeting with a President who has earned Israel's respect, unlike Obama who went out of his way to insult our allies.

What was Trump supposed to do, stubbornly stand at attention and force the 81 year old Saudi King, who is approximately half a foot shorter than he is to stretch so you and your ilk could wail about how rude Trump is humiliating King Salman like that?

Unlike Obama who, in spite of his denials to the contrary, bowed before foreign leaders on his notorious apology tour^[1], Trump was not bowing.

First of all, it's obvious that Trump did not keep his legs straight and did not only move the top half of his body forward. If he had, that might, depending on its depth, meet the relevant dictionary definition of "bow." In the relevant diplomatic context, a bow is "an inclination of the head or body in salutation, assent, thanks, reverence, respect, submission, etc." Instead, Trump bent his knees slightly and kept his head almost upright as he moved his upper body sufficiently forward to enable the king to complete the awarding of the medal.

That in contrast to how Obama kept his legs straight and, well, bowed, at the waist. His bowing actually made Japanese leaders uncomfortable in that they described it as the sort of greeting that a low level servant gives his lord.

The shortest leader he met during his apology tour was Queen Elizabeth and she was the only leader he didn't bow to. the whole argument is ignorant. In some cultures, bowing is just a respectful greeting, like shaking hands. It means nothing subservient.

When Obama visited did he get greeted on the tarmac by the Saudi Arabian leader and his entourage? Did he get invited to participate in a sword dance during one of the many ceremonies held in his honor oh wait weren't there any such ceremonies since the Saudis do not respect shows of weakness like they do shows of strength. Again stop spreading fake news

The Saudis sent a relatively low level prince (there are literally thousands of them there) to meet Obama whereas the 81 year old King himself met Trump in what has been described as 107°F/41.6°C heat.
