      Bahaullah a madman?

      By the...

Now seriously, please take a look at the following verses taken from Bahaullah's fourteen major works and please take a moment to meditate on them. The way the verses were extracted from Bahaullah's writings or tablets was through arranging them in descending order and applying an orthodox mathematical process. For details a personal message will suffice.

1 He is the One Who hath willingly accepted every manner of tribulation for the proclamation of His Cause and the exaltation of His Word. At one time He suffered imprisonment in the land of Tá (Ṭihrán), at another in the land of Mím (Mázindarán), then once again in the former land, for the sake of the Cause of God, the Maker of the heavens. In His love for the Cause of God, the Almighty, the All-Bountiful, He was subjected there to chains and fetters.

2 O thou seeker who art gifted with keen insight. I swear by Him Who attracted the Concourse on High through the potency of His most sublime Word! Verily, the birds abiding within the domains of My Kingdom and the doves dwelling in the rose-garden of My wisdom utter such melodies and warblings as are inscrutable to all but God, the Lord of the kingdoms of earth and heaven; and were these melodies to be revealed even to an extent smaller than a needle’s eye, the people of tyranny would utter such calumnies as none among former generations hath ever uttered, and would commit such deeds as no one in past ages and centuries hath ever committed.

3 O thou who soarest in the atmosphere of love and fellowship and hast fixed thy gaze upon the light of the countenance of thy Lord, the King of creation! Render thanks unto God, inasmuch as He hath unravelled for thee that which was hidden and enshrined in His knowledge so that everyone may become aware that within His realm of supreme infallibility He hath not taken a partner nor a counsellor unto Himself. He is in truth the Dayspring of divine precepts and commandments and the Fountainhead of knowledge and wisdom, while all else besides Him are but His subjects and under His rule, and He is the supreme Ruler, the Ordainer, the All-Knowing, the All-Informed.

I made an error on the poll by clicking no. My answer should be yes. I am a Baha'i. The results of the poll will be very obvious. Jews, Christians, Atheists, most Agnostics, and Muslims will vote no, Baha'is yes, and maybe a few maybes out there from agnostics.

      Re: Bahaullah a madman?

I think it's fair to ask why we should be 'voting' on other people's religion.

We effectively 'vote' on Bahullah by not being Baha'i. Is there any other 'vote' that is necessary?

Keep in mind before reflexively saying it's OK to 'vote' on it, I am in the (perhaps unusual for here) position to where I have plenty of atheist friends who would say the same thing about Jesus. And my reply to them on those occasions when they start bashing Jesus is that 1) I do beleve in him, and 2) they have a lot of nerve defining other people's religion.

I thought it might serve as a distraction. I had this idea that placing a poll on alternative currencies might show me how many people are truly,
      a) not afraid of voicing their opinion
      b) know where purchasing power comes from
      c) cautious

When no one voted except me, it went to show how either a) intelligent the posters in the forum were or b) absorbed by the false idea that money is what gives purchasing power.

For me the Baha'i relligion is nothing but like the concept of a basket of currencies in a globalised economy. The evidence this is true is neither necessary to show as time has already done that.

Hear O isreal do you not know the Lord your God is ONE. I think the Bahaii carry the tradition of the oneness of God rather nicely.
