They are largely the same thing. I don't think I'm "confusing" them, as they are the same. Take a look at a list of the world's happiest countries, it's a list of the world's most liberal countries.

Liberalism's devaluing of the family unit is quickly leading to a population crisis(1) of sorts.

Your idea that Russia, is in any sense 'liberal' seems bizarre!

Low birth rate is a problem that generally seems to result from three things:
    - Low death rate - i.e. relative surety that those children you do have will survive to old age and thus a lack of necessity to have excess children in order to try and make sure that despite a high mortality rate that some do survive to old age
    - The ability to choose not to have children (e.g. availability of contraceptives)
    - Financial security in old age (e.g. due to pension plans / superannuation / compulsory savings) - so that it is not necessary to have children to look after you in old age like it is in 3rd world nations

Plenty of scientific studies show that childless couples are happier. So it's hardly surprising that if people don't have a financial need to have children, and have access to birth control, that they will often choose to use it to have a happier life.

It isn't surprising that when you teach a population that having kids makes them 'breeders' and that a woman's place is in the boardroom
Yawn. 'Breeders' is a very obscure and rarely used insult, and the notion of having children is not demeaned generally in any Western nation I am aware of. I guess it's possible that women working full time is related to a lower birth rate, but I've never seen any studies to prove it. The government here offers extensive childcare support and parental leave so as to insure that women who do work full time don't let that stand in the way of them having a family.

Cute remark, but to accept the Trump’s line that the MSM is “fake news” is effectively to believe Trump’s version of events. A mistake I would have thought given his history of lying.
