Re: June 2011 Screwballs
The Wikipedia article does have links to outside sources.
Take this for example
Some groups within the Christian Right, such as the American Christian Zionists, believe the establishment of the state of Israel was a precursor to the Second Coming of Christ. They also claim that war between the Jews and Arabs was prophesied in the Bible.[52] Ed McAteer, founder of the Moral Majority, said of the current situation in the Middle East: "I believe that we are seeing prophecy unfold so rapidly and dramatically and wonderfully and, without exaggerating, makes me breathless."[52]I already had read something about those whacko elements of the Christian Right, and the article fitted what I could remember. LOOK: nothing is perfect, and you're an ass for expecting perfection. Insisting on perfection is going to earn you a screwball nomination. One Bad Pig, copy. Manwe, copy.
Many people have criticized this view. One such critic, Israeli political analyst Yossi Alpher, said, "It’s not good for the Jews. We have to get God out of this conflict if we’re going to have any chance to survive as a healthy, secure Jewish state."[52]

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

"One develops a cool and ironic sense of bitter humor, as well as a bloated ego, and this personality characteristic is the defining trait of atheists ancient and modern. If there is a meek and humble atheist or sorcerer brimming with the milk of human kindness, I have yet to meet him." -John C Wright
"Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.”"

"The government cannot love you, and any politics that works on a different assumption is destined for no good."
"Government money only pays for the "liberties" the government thinks you should have, and therefore it can determine how you exercise them. That turns liberties into privileges dispensed at the whim of the state."

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

I don't think anyone is expecting perfection, quite the opposite in fact. You have to read Wikipedia (and everything else for that matter) with discernment. A few wackos within a group does not make an entire government plot.
But, given some of your previous posts, I did expect insults from you

Re: June 2011 Screwballs
Yes! I just don't understand why One Bad Pig keeps slamming my Wikipedia citiations. They are just to start with, for crying out aloud. Now if I seem like Manwe's wailing mom and someone says so, well, I'm going to complain about One Bad Pig's hoity toity attitude towards Internet sources whenever he complains about my citations without suggesting his preferred sources. Oh, maybe he is so supercilious that he actually doesn't have any. O what is one to do :waa:
Huh?? The wackos can't do everything by themselves, is that what you are thinking? In any case, would you mind expanding on that, just to enlighten me?A few wackos within a group does not make an entire government plot.I can be quite insulting when foolishness runs rampant. Teluog, for example, now there's a target. But, given some of your previous posts, I did expect insults from you
About enlightening me, I ask questions, because I am a creature seeking lightness. But unfortunately, creatures of darkness, such as Manwe, One Bad Pig, and Challenger Grim do nothing to bring light into Sty-gian corners. Or deliberately make people stumble about in the darkness.
