  • The "Russian Conspiracy" strategam appears to be failing

Despite liberals in Washington and the media doing everything they can to keep the Russian conspiracy story alive, it doesn't seem to be resonating with voters:

    Source: Breitbart

On Friday’s edition of PBS’ “Washington Week,” Associated Press Congressional Correspondent Erica Werner said that “several lawmakers of both parties” told her that “they do not hear about this issue in town halls, from their voters when they go home. They don’t hear about Russia.”

Werner stated, “I’ve heard from several lawmakers of both parties…that they do not hear about this issue in town halls, from their voters, when they go home. They don’t hear about Russia. They hear about healthcare. They hear about jobs. So, they aren’t getting pressure from constituents, even Democrats, on this issue.”

After being told that Trump colluded with the Russians for the better part of a year and not even a scintilla of corroborating evidence being offered in support of the allegation is going to have its effect.

I'm always still in trouble again

From the beginning it was never an issue that played well for the Dems because it's not close-to-home for people. People care about getting healthcare, they care about their children getting an education, they don't care about foreign or political scandals.

The evidence seems to be that Trump and his associates are all as guilty as sin, especially Flynn and Kushner. So probably somewhere down the track Watergate-esque justice will occur (i.e. there'll be resignations etc but criminal charges won't stick), but it's not the right type of phenomena to use to try to whip voters into a frenzy with. Taking away people's healthcare is the right issue to achieve that, and the Republicans have been doing their best to upset people on that subject.

        What evidence, you dolt?

Even Trump's political enemies are on record admitting there is no evidence.

obv it doesn't resonate with the progressive neocon corporate puppets in the deep state, that goes without saying

In other news, every named and on-the-record source has consistently said the same thing: no evidence of collusion. That message is apparently being heard, and as a result, voters simply aren't interested in Russian conspiracy theories as evidenced by the topic of conversation at townhall meetings.

You should feel embarrassed that I have to explain this to you, but you won't, because you're a bit stupid.

The evidence that your empty skull is impervious to. Kushner omitted his conversations with the Russians on his security forms. Says he forgot! Right, he forgot that he spoke with Kislyak about setting up covert back channels to avoid U.S. Intelligence. If you believe that, well it just goes to show what a naive rube you actually are MM.

All according to nameless, faceless, anonymous sources who apoarently only went to The Washington Post with this information.

Former Ohio senator Nina Turner (D) says the same thing mentioned in the OP: the average American voter doesn't give a crap about Russian conspiracy theories.

She says nobody is talking about it in Ohio. Californians seem more concerned about healthcare. A black man in Washington DC told her that Russia isn't even in his top 5.

Money quote: "Everyday Americans are being left behind because it’s Russia, Russia, Russia."

                      http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/...asking-russia/

It's hard to keep the public interested when every time someone goes on record, it's to admit there is no evidence of collusion.

Flynn and Kushner, maybe. What evidence is there that the rest of them, particularly Trump, is in any way guilty? I've yet to see anything.

Maybe the investigation has turned up all kinds of incriminating evidence that hasn't been disclosed to the public and when revealed, it will completely and utterly destroy any argument that Trump wasn't conspiring with the Russians. But for now, there appears to be no actual public evidence that Trump was complicit in this.

And Flynn and Kushner look to be a case of bad "optics" as opposed to being guilty of anything illegal.
