Natural Science 301 Guidelines

This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

As usual, Tweb rules apply. If you haven't read them now would be a good time.

This nonsense was not published in a reputable per reviewed scientific journal. Hard sciences ia not remotely effected by this voodoo science.

Of course not. Hard science is always done in an unbiased manner, and only goes where the evidence leads.

That is of course what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately humans are fallible and occasionally have agendas, but then, OTOH, other humans will have agendas in polar opposition and will be delighted to go through research looking for anything to discredit it. It actually is an effective, though not perfect, system of checks and balances.

I'm always still in trouble again

I don't know how you can say that given Seer's OP. This thread belongs in the Padded Room.

I think you're scraping the bottom of the barrel in wishful thinking. You admit to not even understanding the abstract but still make nonsensical claims of impact.

Despite your obvious sarcasm this true for the long run with science. Over time the bad research and phony science is weeded out, and the knowledge of science advances on a firm foundation. It is decidedly reliable and consistent on the long term.

Generally, yes. Our sound bite culture is way too impatient to wait for the long term, however.

As a scientist, I am obligated to ignore the 'sound bite culture' of political correctness, and other shenanigans such as phony scientific research and journals, as cited in the opening of this thread..

Given that your habit here is to reach for the first thing you google up which you think supports your point (regardless of provenance, and whether or not it actually does), I have my doubts that you are any more objectively neutral in other areas.
