  • More Leftist Hatred Of Free Speech...

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

Atheism is the cult of death, the death of hope. The universe is doomed, you are doomed, the only thing that remains is to await your execution...

There's an obvious difference between the groups listed. The pro-life group would be explicitly advocating a controversial political position. The other clubs listed are student support clubs, hobby clubs, and discussion clubs.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

Well that obviously makes it even worse.

I don't think this has anything to do with free speech per say, as even in the public sphere its impossible to give platform to everyone. The school is right to make a decision as to what groups reflect its image. As I'm sure, you would not call it a 'free speech issue' if gay students at Biola was told that they could not have a campus group about that.

So while I think its a bad move for school to disallow that group, I can't deny them their rights to do so, nor would I call it a free speech issue.

Leonhard, this is a free speech issue, believe me this school will lose in the courts. A public school does not get exclude this club, while allowing others.

if they have a political science club I dont see how they can disallow them for being too political.

The school in question is paid for with public funds.
Biola is a privately funded school.

Publically funded schools have to allow for free speech so it is very much a free speech issue.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

Which is a made-up rule specifically designed to oppose just this club.

IE: They have a gay straight alliance club:
