      ## The Bible borrows from the Silmarillion. This is certain, because the Elvish Flood-narrative is far older than that in Genesis. So all these Ark-aeological expeditions are looking for the wrong vessel; what they should do is work out the probable location of Western Gondor, and go from there. (This BTW proves that the Book of Mormon is correct is supposing that the Flood-survivors travelled from West to East, though its reasons are largely mistaken)

Re: Why is there no mention of time travel in biblical times

I’m currently reading Time Travelers Of The Bible: How Hebrew Prophets Shattered The Barriers Of Time-Space by Gary Stearman and came across the following passage.

When the glorified Christ appeared to John on Patmos, it had bee more than sixty years since His Ascension. His appearance is best understood as substantial and corporeal. That is, He simply stepped bodily through the dimensional barrier into John’s time-space. . . As we have written elsewhere, Jesus then took John into the future. . . into our future, where he personally witnessed many things to come. . . Christ’s bodily appearances to John and Daniel were separated by a span of about 631 years, yet, as we have seen, they were made by one and the same divine Person. Is it really possible that the risen and glorified Christ had traveled back from the future to visit Daniel in physical form? Absolutely! As we have repeatedly seen Jesus is the master of time-space. He created it and He supports it “by the word of His Power”
      (Hebrews 1:3)

His quotation of Hebrews 1:3 does not support his idea that "Christ had traveled back from the future."

Re: Why is there no mention of time travel in biblical times

There is mention of time travel in the pseudoepigraphal texts of Baruch taken out of the book of jeremiah. Much of scripture is not included in the little library 66 books of scripure we have referred to as the bible. In fact there is books reffered to as scripture and even quoted from that were not added to the bible, one example is Enoch the first man to be taken to see alien worlds and places in the heavens. The book of Enoch explains how the aliens chose women and tought them all divine secrets and knowledge of space people or star people or those from the heavens referred to as demons, now days are posing as harmless aliens. The world that Enoch lived in is also know as Atlantis. That is when all the true megalithic stones were made and those that came down were ruling the entire earth that was way different than the earth we live on today. Genesis account of pre flood consist of only a few pages at the very begining of the book. The entire bible consist of mainly the hebrews history all the way from Noah the last man to live over 900. Before the earth was almost completely broken up and knocked off course by some war in heaven between heavenly creatures or in other words war in outer space by aliens. The astroid belt is a blown up planet of lucifer the fallen star and becouse of that or astroids huge chunks of a planet that was destroyed smashed into the other planets causing sever devastation to mars and earth wiping out all life forms on both planets besides those on the ark.

There are indeed many fancifual works of fiction which the early church knew should not be confused with God's Word. 2000 years from now, someone may pick up the works of Frank Peretti, Tim LaHaye, and even Philip Pullman as evidence of what 20th Century Christians "believed."

Re: Why is there no mention of time travel in biblical times

I doubt there will be another 20 years let alone 2000 and i was not implying that Enoch was fiction. The fact is Jude ( book of the bible) uotes the book of enoch since it was one of the books that the hebrews kept in the temple as a scroll just like alot of other scrolls that are not included in the bible even though they are very important parts of history like the book of Maccabees. Just becouse some gentiles dont believe in some scripture does not make it untrue. Im sure if it was kept in the temple and written by a hebrew prophet or someone from that bloodline up to Adam such as Enoch then it must be true no matter how hard to believe. Truth is stranger than fiction. The truth is that there is evidence of an ancient advanced civilization that confirms exactly what the bible says in genesis ch 6 and is parrallel with the teachings of Enoch the one that Yah took up in outerspace or the most high that one could possibly travel to showing him all the creation. The sons of God (aka aliens or extra terrestrial) came down tought all sorts of heavenly secrets to man and this is where the knowledge comes from on how to biuld megalithic structures and technology that was more advanced than today. One of the big differences though is that the earth was much different before the flood and this is why all the scientist are baffled about the history of the earth. There has not always been compitition for food. After the flood the earth was broken up and all the animals and vegetation was destroyed. Maybe an astriod broke up the foundtians of the deep and knocked the water canopy out of the sky almost ruining our atmosphere. The reason creatures got so giant and lived so long in pre-flood time is becouse of a better biosphere. The earth did not compleatly recover from the cataclism explaining our life span and size now days. After the flood all vegetation had been destroyed so God provided man and animals with flesh for meat instead of herbs, fruits, and vegetables for all animals hence the food chain. Most of the large dinosaurs (dragons) were not welcome around becouse of them eating and burning man. Yes t-rex was a flying fire breathing dragon read Job ch41. The inca stones are also proof. All cultures have thier stories of dragons also. The world was a very different place pre-flood full of knowledge and divine secrets and False gods decieving man into worshipping them for knowledge. This brought about a war in heaven between the heavenly creaters(celetial beings) and Michael cast the heavenly serpent to earth as a lightning bolt(think of Thor). There was no place left in outer space for him to live since it had been destroyed. the light that use to shine and could be seen from earth as the brightest (lucifer) had fire brought about from the midst it. The astroid belt is a result of this war between heavenly creatures that have the capability of destroying an entire planet sending chunks of it all through the solar system reeking havic on the rest of the planet. There is an iron ball 1/3 the size of earth in orbit in the astroid belt. It is the cooled core of a destroyed planet called lucifer. There is proof in the strata that astroid and meteriotes have only been hitting earth for a few thousand years. God did not creat a system with potential rocks floating around that could wipe out all his creation. God Judged Atlantis and flooded it just al the legend states. Man could live almost 1000 years during atlantian times and could gain alot of knowledge without having to pass anything on to a successer. The earth will be restored back to these conditions when the king of all mankind returns from the most high above (outerspace) or beyond i dont know since there are layers of the heavens. All extinct plants and animals will be resurrected and the mountains and valleys will be flattened. The oceans will be gone (no more) and the bioshpere will be restored so no more harmfull radiation from the sun so no more sun burn and cancer and no need for pigmintation or maligment. The atmosphere will have double the pressure and oxygen so we can run around the globe if we feel like it and there will be know need to fear the dragons or the lions or the bears since they will have there extinct plants back to eat. The entire earth will be tropical and inhabitabull unlike now we are only at 3% habitabull the rest is desert and ocean. The only ones that take place in the first ressuretion will be the ones that are killed for not worshipping the beast or taking his mark and lay their life down. The rest will be resurrected after the millenial rule of messiah on this very earth. All nations will bow and obey when they hear the roar of the lion from the tribe of Jewdah out of Israel. Bless Isreal and you will be blessed and vice versa.

I know you didn't treat Enoch as a work of fiction. But you should. You do yourself a disservice by painting the church's universal rejection of Enoch as if it were just "some Gentiles don't believe in some Scripture." At least admit that you recognize how unpopular your view is, if you want to be taken halfway seriously. You appear to believe that the book of Enoch was actually written by Enoch, which is not the case. As for the rest of your story, I admire your ability to mix "Chariot of the Gods" with "Thor" and "Atlantis." You have the makings of a good novelist in you, but I agree with Sparko that you need to learn when to start a new paragraph.
