Sorry, but the ad hominem fallacy does not make for a good legal argument. The only thing we have to go on are the actual words said by Trump, or, rather, the words which Comey claims were said by Trump, which, at least on paper, appear more conciliatory than demanding. Unless it can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump's statement was an attempt to obstruct justice, and keeping in mind that the President of the United States has full legal authority to order the FBI to suspend an investigation, then there's no case here that wouldn't be immediately thrown out of court.
