1) I question the gender of alleged women who are using the internet just to find sex. Guys are notoriously un-choosy about promiscuous sex, drunk guys moreso.

2) I can understand why they blackball you when you don't have a college education. Just as men are wired to look for a certain silhouette with good skin and a nice smile (signs of fertility and general good physical and emotional health), women are wired to look for partners who are likely to bring home the bacon rather than spend the day playing Xbox and waiting for the SSI check. College correlates with both earning potential and character traits such as planning and delayed gratification, all of which are attractive in a potential breadwinning mate. Donald Trump doesn't get the babes because of his toupees. I take it higher education is out of the question for you?

One of the issues with me finding a woman to date is that I don't live in a large area. I know plenty of single women who aren't just looking to "hook up" but the vast majority of them are my cousins. I even talked to a woman online for a while, we were planning on meeting, then I found out that she's the granddaughter of my great-uncle. She's far enough removed that according to state law we can marry and on a biological level we wouldn't have to worry about our kids coming out with flippers, but around here the policy is that if one of your parents can't date their parents (which her dad is my dad's first cousin, so even if one of them were female they still couldn't have dated) then that generation is as off limits to you as your own first cousins, regardless of what law and biology say.

So second cousins can't date either? Bummer; that will certainly narrow the options in a small town.

What's the problem with being younger? My wife is ten years younger than I am. We met and married in less than a year and things are going great.

How'd I meet her? Mutual friend. I wasn't really looking and the rarity would be finding someone before our marriage who said we weren't a match made in Heaven. Our pre-marital counselor even said our devotion levels were off the charts.

I say relax and live your life. Be open, but enjoy yourself. Your marital status is not your identity.

In the meantime, be preparing by reading a book such as "Real Sex" by Lauren Winner and work not necessarily on finding the right wife for you, but being the right husband for a wife.
