*Yawn* Sorry Reality Check. The Courtier's reply is an excuse for laziness. It is saying you don't need to study something to show it's obviously bogus. Well yes, you do need to study it or else you make great errors in critiquing it. You should be running in shame from Myers's reply. He is not a philosopher. He is a scientist. He does not understand that one body of knowledge is not identical to all others.

As for part two, I have no problem with rational evidence-based criticism. Let's just be sure what we're talking about. I don't critique literature using science. I don't do math using biology. The two work together but are not identical. As for the sins that Myers has spoken of, I doubt he can define any of them and fas for dogma, the new atheism is more of a dogma than the faith it seeks to destroy.

Now come on Reality Check! Give a real argument already!
