Whether they did or not...I don't know. Maybe I'll do the research someday if someone pays me for it.

Not planned. Though I may use Wiki as a butt wiping device.

There are some subjects that simply should not be researched on the internet. This is a prime example of such.

Especially not on Wikipedia, where users have yet to realize that there are instances in which a visual aid is not at all helpful--far from it, in fact.

Sorry, Sparko, I couldn't let that little snark go by. (Well, I suppose I could but didn't want to.)

I don't think you should lose any imaginary points on that one, though. Several times in recent years I've noticed educated people using ironic in place of sarcastic.

You do get points and kudos for correcting Manwe. I assume it takes a little bit of character to challenge a sacrament of the Insult Cult.

actually I do know the difference, and I had it right. Sarcasm is a form of irony.

Well, there's a distinction you may have missed but certainly not one important enough to pursue. Please forgive my little impertinence.

One of Licona's supporters issued what is probably the most unique, and certainly powerful, challenges of Geisler's standard against Licona.

We are returning insult for evil. Note the lack of such a prohibition in the text you cite.

One of the biggest WP battlegrounds is on Muhammad-related articles (because images of him obviously offend many Muslims). Some Wikipedia editors try to go out of their way to overload Islam-related articles with as many depictions of him as possible just to be inflammatory. I'm very against censorship, but I think that's a really silly approach.

a very good and logical argument. Let us know if Geisler actually responds to it. Seems like it puts Geisler between a rock and a hard place.
