Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

You do the strangest research, JP.
Addendum: It's a DARN good thing you seldom look things up on Wikipedia. Please, don't start in regard to this topic. You'll thank me.

I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist

Especially not on Wikipedia, where users have yet to realize that there are instances in which a visual aid is not at all helpful--far from it, in fact.

Re: An Open Challenge to Norman Geisler
Actually, he was being sarcastic. It's ironic that you didn't know the difference.
Sorry, Sparko, I couldn't let that little snark go by. (Well, I suppose I could but didn't want to.)
I don't think you should lose any imaginary points on that one, though. Several times in recent years I've noticed educated people using ironic in place of sarcastic.
You do get points and kudos for correcting Manwe. I assume it takes a little bit of character to challenge a sacrament of the Insult Cult.
Be well and good

One of Licona's supporters issued what is probably the most unique, and certainly powerful, challenges of Geisler's standard against Licona.
Okay, I finally have a blog.

Re: An Open Challenge to Norman Geisler
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

One of the biggest WP battlegrounds is on Muhammad-related articles (because images of him obviously offend many Muslims). Some Wikipedia editors try to go out of their way to overload Islam-related articles with as many depictions of him as possible just to be inflammatory. I'm very against censorship, but I think that's a really silly approach.
