Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
    Trust, Patience, Faith, God’s Way...
    Shalom!

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient.” (Romans 5:3, The Living Bible)

“And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.” (Romans 5:4, The Living Bible)

Not only is the bible about the past, it is also about the present and the future. “We can rejoice, too when we run into problems and trials for we know they are good for us...” Working with the timelessness of the Holy Spirit Paul brings the past, present and future into one verse. Converging on you and in you in the NOW the Holy Spirit brings to bear your past experiences your now experiences preparing you for future experiences at life/living. (Life is what we have, living is what we do with what we have been given.)

As powerful and relevant verse 3 is along comes verse 4 solidifying the Divine Resources and Blessings for the next day, and the next day, and the next day. ”...each time we use it (patience and trust) until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.” I said this before and I’ll say it again, I am not a patient person. “LORD, if you’re going to fix what is broken with me don’t make me wait, now is the time to fix-it so I can move on to the next thing,” God will tell you that is a familiar phrase in my prayer’s. And as usual they are always met with silence which is God’s way of reminding me it’s always his way not my way. Does that have a familiar ring to you?

As time ticks away pealing off the layers of doubt and pride revealing the truth that God’s way IS the right way. And once we swallow our self sufficiency and join God on his pathway... “Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” (Romans 5:5, The Living Bible)

“May the Lord of peace himself give you his peace no matter what happens. The Lord be with you all.”**
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
