I recently got rid of all my Burgon books, donating them to a church, so I happen to know that those figures are correct, which of course you didn't address at all. You commit yet another fallacy known as "Damning the source" or "the genetic fallacy" which is just another ad hominem which attempts to refute an argument by indicting the source of the argument, rather than the substance of the argument itself. What was the substance that you ignored? Well it was an examination of two of the "oldest and best" manuscripts that have been used in nearly every translation since 1881 when Westcott and Hort introduced a "new" text onto t he public. When scholars like Dean Burgon and others examined these texts here is what they discovered:

And I could cite many other examples. He ignores the thrust of this entire mess because I didn't put quotes around this and cite the website. I am not writing a formal paper here. Let's face it, you haven't said anything original at the onset. Everything you have said is a rehash of what you have learned from fellow parrots going all the way back to Aquinas. Nothing original whatsoever. You parrot what other apologists have taught you and you repeat it.

Since you really like philosophy, maybe you would be more impressed with the book "Atheism: A Philosophical Justification" which was written by a philosopher. He presents "logic" and philosophy to rebut Christian claims. Also, you may be better served from any of John Loftus's books:

1. Why I Became an Atheist: A Former Preacher Rejects Christianity by John W. Loftus
2. The Christian Delusion: Why Faith Fails by John W. Loftus and Dan Barker
3. The End of Christianity by John W. Loftus

The "new atheists" write well, but I still enjoy the "old atheists" much better such as:
1. Natural Atheism by David Eller
2. Atheism Advanced: Further Thoughts of a Freethinker by David Eller
3. The God Virus: How religion infects our lives and culture by Darrel W. Ray

And of course "Atheist Universe: The Thinking Person's Answer to Christian Fundamentalism" by David Mills
In my estimation, John Loftus books would be your greatest challenge to overcome with regards to Christianity. Eller's book "Natural Atheism" is like a short course on reason which is refreshing.

i might cause a war by saying this, but i kinda agree with Wilson's comment and and with Georgetown for offerring such a class. it might be really hard to think that the hip hop sub culture could be anything but a maelstrom of violence and hate, but if we look at it through the eyes of cultural anthropology, i can kinda understand them (but still disagree with them on some points of course lol).
