I’m on a roll, another podcast episode up, so get off my bac
Ep. 44 is the seventeenth of an ongoing verse by verse study of the Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24 and is intended to be an audio companion to the written commentary It’s Not the End of the World located at http://www.preteristsite.com/plain/warrenend.html. The topic in this episode is continuing with Matthew 24:30, specifically the bolded part:
Matthew 24:30: Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
also answer some pushbacks to my monergistic view including the classic synergistic reliance on Matthew 23:37:
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.Nochyu mokraya ptitsa nikogda ne letaet.

Awesome! This is one of the verses I've really been anticipating you going over, so I'm glad to see a podcast ep. to go with your commentary.
Here I am!

D, I'm not certain if a comment is appropriate here or not............but I will simply throw this out and see if it brings any consternation from that end.
Is it likely that at least one person, from each and every "tribe" upon the earth had died prior to the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord? I mean, if there have been (pick a number), say, 15,000 "tribes" since the creation, would it be easily understood that at least one person of each of those "tribes" had died, and were residing in the eternal realm, at this time of Christ in his ministry?
Then wouldn't that "qualify" that eternal realm of containing "ALL" the tribes of the earth? Even as the "certain" rich man (Lazarus) was able to "see" and understand that eternal realm, being a participant found therein, even as he portrayed the torments that he was in?
I apologize if I have encroached upon your thread,
Bless,
Dan
