If they had won, it would have been a big deal, they didn't, but the fact that they brought down the margin of the republican win down substancially is significant. Thats all there is to it. Republicans want to make a big deal about holding on in districts that they have held for decades. Just holding on is good, but its nothing to boast about.

Wow Jimmy, you truly are a textbook example of what happens to your brain on a steady diet of MSM lead propaganda. The talking heads, internet news sources, and newspapers were talking about how democrats were going to win this election. When the opposite happened, the gears were switched to, "Well, we lost but..." to hide the fact they were playing the same game than as they played in November. If you want to be a leeming, go for it. I prefer to see the reality that they were wrong again and refuse to admit it.
