Again, depends on your perspective, did democrats win the elections? Nope. But did they make inroads in districts that have been republican for decades. Absolutely. Those were deeply red districts. That won't be the case in 2018, and those elections will be more of a referendum against the lying, theiving, racist, misogynist, treasoness, con man, president D.J.Trump.

Brought to you by the same people that claimed Clinton was going to win by a landslide or claimed that Democrats were going to win this last special election.

Funny how this last election was supposed to spell the doom of Trump because all the polls said that Democrats were supposed to win by several points. Yet when the polls closed and democrats lost yet again, all of a sudden losing doesn't matter and the end of Trump is upon us. If you're so brainwashed that you can't even see these two positions are clear contradictions; nobody can help you.

Did I ever say that this last election would spell the doom of Trump? I don't think so. I couldn't care less what the polls said, I'm just analyzing the results, and the results are that the democrats made inroads into each and everyone of those red district special elections.

Making inroads isn't winning and is just a way for the loser to make themselves feel better. With all the negative, wall to wall coverage, Democrats can't seem to win these elections. Doubling down on the same failure that cost Clinton the election isn't going to help. It's almost as if people hate being called racist and sexist, unless you agree with Democrats, so they vote against Democrats. Insulting the voters doesn't seem to win elections, imagine that.

I would ask which districts, also how many!!

But who cares, since Trump flipped entire states!!!

Democrats weren't expected to win any of those elections lilpix. How is it you can't understand that. If they had won, it would have been a big deal, they didn't, but the fact that they brought down the margin of the republican win down substancially is significant. Thats all there is to it. Republicans want to make a big deal about holding on in districts that they have held for decades. Just holding on is good, but its nothing to boast about.

Yeah maybe, nothing new there from either side in american politics, except that its predominant on the right, but falling for that crap would be a pretty stupid reason to be basing ones vote on.

Terms like "inroads" and "moral victory" are what losers say when they're trying to make themselves feel better. Libertarians have been saying stuff like that for decades. Let's hope the Democrats join them for decades to come!

Wow Jimmy, you truly are a textbook example of what happens to your brain on a steady diet of MSM lead propaganda. The talking heads, internet news sources, and newspapers were talking about how democrats were going to win this election. When the opposite happened, the gears were switched to, "Well, we lost but..." to hide the fact they were playing the same game than as they played in November. If you want to be a leeming, go for it. I prefer to see the reality that they were wrong again and refuse to admit it.

And you keep up with this failure, you'll be saying 'president Trump' until 2024 vs 2020.

Let's hope they don't stop with calling their opponents a bunch of names for a few more election cycles. Maybe we could end up with a decent party out of the whole deal.
