Need help finding a book
There is a particular book I am after The Medieval Church: Christianity in the Age of Princes and Peasants AD 600-1450 by Paul M. Bassett, but I cannot find it in stock on the internet anywhere. They all say 'out of stock' and have done for some time:

I don't suppose somebody could either find me a copy or explain why I can't seem to find it in stock anywhere. Cheers.Crab Battle

"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

Re: Need help finding a book
It seems to have been blitzed out of existance. Baker books doesn't even have Paul Bassett on their list of authors anymore. all other books of the series are still available for purchase.
According to WorldCat West Palm Beach Public Library in Florida is the only library with a copy.

Damn, I really want it for sake of completion. I have one book in the series and want the whole set. I am really intrigued now as to why it has been taken out of print.

If someone can somehow get me a copy, then I would reimburse them for their efforts. Although once I can actually afford it of course.
