Red eye help, please
Does anybody know of a free program that would edit photos? I can edit them in my photo-print program, but when I try to save the edited photo, it only opens it up to print it, and I don't want to print it just now.
I want to make a calendar, and I need to save the edited photo to another file, but don't know if it can be done.
So another editor would probably help.

I thought this was about conjunctivitis. GIMP is free software that can get rid of red eye as well as do many other things

Thanks, Hammy. My son has GIMP on his computer. I will see if he can help me.
And I wouldn't be posting about conjunctivitis in this department of Tweb.

depends on what type of PC you have Milady.
If you have a windows PC then paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) is very good (and free). And Picasa from Google (http://picasa.google.com) is pretty good."If you can ever make any major religion look absolutely ludicrous, chances are you haven't understood it"

Re: Red eye help, please
my HP has a slide show thingy that helps adjust red eye on the edit function...I can use it...I'm just to darn non technical to tell someone else how to use it unless I'm sitting with them....

Re: Red eye help, please
Thanks, Sir Raphael and Cath.
I found a thingy called Fotoflexor that you just upload your photo right online and fix it however you want. Then it gives you the option of saving it in jpeg or something else I can't remember right now, wherever you want on your computer......or FB or Twitter or any place you want to put it.
It's free, and you have to register with your email addy and a password, but it worked for the couple of pics I had to get fixed.
