Screwball to my university, as their online module assessment feedback sheets won't open on my Macbook Pro. I suddenly had the thought of trying to open them on my PC, and lo and behold they open just fine.

In other news, I got 68 for my essay on Rousseau, and 64 for my essay on the US constitution. Prayer fulfilment right there.:)

No, I do not jump on any conspiracy wagon that happens to pass by. I want to see some evidence first. This is the first time I knew about atheists' thinking that the Israeli authority is conspiring with Christians. Is there any evidence of that? Maybe a smoking gun will be unearthed, but I'd shake my head.

Since when has a "smoking gun" (or lack thereof) stopped you from adopting any other theory? I'll bet that if you go confront the atheists over it, they'll provide as much evidence for you as you do when we confront you over some of your lunacy.

I don't know the extent of their theories, I just heard it mentioned in discussion of that video.

In this thread I usually do a lot of scrolling without posting. (Well, lately. Today was exceptional. Challenger Grim could have left me off, but he unfortunately is a total conspiracy disbeliever.) So, I'm wondering if that was to poke fun at me?

Indeed. For comparison, getting 70 is the equivalent of getting a GPA of 4.0 in an American University. My average last year was 62.3 (but the first year does not count towards the final grade you get at BA level, only years 2 and 3 count.)

70+ is called a 'first.'
60-69 is called an 'upper-second,' also known as a '2:1.' Most MA programs require you to get at least a 2:1 in order to be accepted.
50-59 is called a 'lower-second,' also known as a '2:2.'
40-49 is a 'third.'
35-40 is an 'ordinary pass.' Although at my university anything less than 40 means you have to re-do the assignment.

This is a straight-forward serious question: Do you really think you'll go to heaven if you believe that god likes human sacrifice?

In a nutshell, if believe that god set up an ancient man (entirely human, but god) to be brutally tortured and sacrificed, take a bath, and then symbolically eat the human sacrifice's flesh and drink his blood, you're "saved?"

These days, anyone who bears that many children is beyond selfish and not very intelligent. Our planet and its finite resources will not be able to sustain the rate of population growth perpetrated by families such as the Duggars. Humanity is essentially raping Mother Nature to support its ever-increasing needs (consider the example of the Gulf oil disaster and its root cause – a perceived ever increasing need for more oil by humans).

It is religious doctrines that religious families often rely on to justify their excessive production of offspring, adding to Humanity’s burden on the planet and their greedy consumption of more that their fair share of the world's precious resources.

If Humanity does not learn to keep itself in check and share the world and its resources with other living things on this planet, this planet (and Mother Earth/Nature) will limit or eliminate Humanity through natural causes...that is, unless humanity does not do it to itself first though some war or human-made disaster (e.g. climate change, etc.)...
