It is fine that these two men had concerns with Licona’s interpretation of Matthew 27. But their concerns should have been drowned out by the commendation that they gave Licona for his monumental work. Geisler, an apologist of the “old school,” should have written twenty open letters of commendation and praise before he ever even thought of writing his first open letter of criticism which eventually left Mike out of a job. Though I have talked to Mike briefly about this over the phone and he did not seem too discouraged, what a deflation of purpose, drive, and ambition this must be for him. To contribute so significantly to the defense of the core of Christianity only to find his greatest battle coming not from unbelievers, but from his very own kin whose commendations serve only as a prelude to calls to repentance, recantation, and reform must be more than difficult.

Geisler and Mohler should have thrown Mike Licona a parade but instead they have paraded a spectacle of shame and dishonor, elevating a non-essential issue of interpretation to the very test of orthodoxy. Mohler said that “Licona has handed the enemies of the resurrection of Jesus Christ a powerful weapon.” I am beginning to think that just the opposite is true. Mohler and Geisler (and anyone else who has defined Licona accordingly) are presently giving the enemies of Christ a powerful weapon. Illegitimate weapon, yes. But powerful nonetheless. (Not to mention embarrassing.)

Screwball to Part 1 of CaseAgainstFaith1's response to TheFunkyTheist's video on the historical reliability of Mark's gospel. He spends part 1 attempting to critique the "would they die for a lie argument" and fails to grasp what the argument even is. He uses clips from a series by ProfMTH on the subject who, by the looks of it is just as clueless. According to ProfMTH there is no evidence Peter was ever in Rome. Honestly, I thought CaseAgainstFaith and ProfMTH were supposed to be intelligent skeptics.

LAWL. So, basically, the co-founder of the Euro has basically just come out and admitted that the concept of a single Euro currency and centralised European bank was fundamentally flawed from the outset. 1, 2, 3: "WE TOLD YOU SO."

Now, can the UK have the good sense to LEAVE? Isn't it enough that the EU has inflicted excessive import taxes and excessive regulation on the British market? Isn't it enough that the EU is content with robbing us of billions of tax pounds to fuel their spending addiction? Good grief Dave, just leave! You could have let the referendum continue and so you avoid the responsibility of leaving yourself, but no.

Oh heck no. caseagainstfaith was here for a while and I kicked him to sleep; eventually he used an excuse to quit (that I was being mean to Lazy Agnostic, that stalker). Also have several articles on him (as Paul Jacobsen) now compressed into one. He's awful.

And Prof?? He just selectively uses some scholarship which makes him look better than the average YT skeppie, but in sum, as AAG says, he's just the best looking guy in the burn unit.
