      NA27 Text (Colossians 4:11):
      καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ λεγόμενος Ἰοῦστος, οἱ ὄντες ἐκ περιτομῆς, οὗτοι μόνοι συνεργοὶ εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ, οἵτινες ἐγενήθησάν μοι παρηγορία.

      Transliteration:
      kai Iēsous ho legomenos Ioustos, hoi ontes ek peritomēs, houtoi monoi synergoi eis tēn basileian tou theou, hoitines egenēthēsan moi parēgoria.

      Translation (ESV)
      and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

      Analysis (Zerwick):
      λεγόμενος : called, passive participle of λέγω.
      ὄντες : participle of εἰμί be.
      περιτομή : circumcision.
      συνεργός : fellow-worker (predicate).
      εἰς : for.
      οἵτινες : who are such that, who are the kind to be.

      ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς Ἐπαφρᾶς ὁ ἐξ ὑμῶν, δοῦλος Χριστοῦ [Ἰησοῦ], πάντοτε ἀγωνιζόμενος ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν ἐν ταῖς προσευχαῖς, ἵνα σταθῆτε τέλειοι καὶ πεπληροφορημένοι ἐν παντὶ θελήματι τοῦ θεοῦ.

      Transliteration:
      aspazetai hymas Epaphras ho ex hymōn, doulos Christou [Iēsou], pantote agōnizomenos hyper hymōn en tais proseuchais, hina stathēte teleioi kai peplērophorēmenoi en panti thelēmati tou theou.

      Translation (ESV)
      Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

      Analysis (Zerwick):
      ὁ ἐξ ὑμῶν : who is one of you.
      πάντοτε : always.
      ἀγωνιζόμενος : participle of ἀγωνίζομαι take part in a context (ἀγών), strive, here as it were with God.
      προσευχή : prayer.
      σταθῆτε : aorist passive subjunctive of ἵστημι classical that you may be made to stand / upheld, but in Hellenistic Greek often with middle (intransitive) force, that you may stand.
      τέλειος : mature.
      πεπληροφορημένοι : perfect passive participle of πληροφορέω assure fully, convince, middle be absolutely convinced, feel certain.
      ἐν παντὶ θελήματι τοῦ θεοῦ : as to every (aspect of) God's will.

      kai hotan anagnōsthȩ̄ par’ hymin hē epistolē, poiēsate hina kai en tȩ̄ Laodikeōn ekklēsia̧ anagnōsthȩ̄, kai tēn ek Laodikeias hina kai hymeis anagnōte.

      Translation (ESV)
      And when this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea.

      Analysis (Zerwick):
      ἀναγνωσθῇ : aorist passive subjunctive ἀναγινώσκω read.
      παρ᾿ ὑμῖν : among you.
      ποιήσατε ἵνα : (aorist imperative of ποιέω) "make it that", i.e. see that it is read, arrange for it to be read.
      τὴν ἐκ Λαοδικείας : that from , i.e. Paul's epistle to the Laodiceans which was to be sent "from Laodicea" to Colossae.

      Ὁ ἀσπασμὸς τῇ ἐμῇ χειρὶ Παύλου. μνημονεύετέ μου τῶν δεσμῶν. ἡ χάρις μεθ᾿ ὑμῶν.

      Ho aspasmos tȩ̄ emȩ̄ cheiri Paulou. mnēmoneuete mou tōn desmōn. hē charis meth’ hymōn.

      I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
