Trump is unusual. He's currently horrifying the entire world, and is easily going to win the prize for worst US President in history.

Thats because those House Democrats are unpricipled cowards, polititions who are only concerned about their own jobs. What Democrats need, what the country needs, are more Nancy Pelosi's instead of the likes of those whining weasels trying to take her down.

        You mean the Democrats?
Nope, some of them would like to blame her for the their own ineptitude, but no, she's a thorn in the side of republicans which is why they despise her so much.

Check your fax machine, Jimmy - the talking points are being released - she's more toxic in some areas than Trump.

Democratic lawmaker: Pelosi is worse than Trump in some areas of the country
Thats the point, the purpose of personal smearing CP. Trump deserves it, he's is a pathalogical liar, a con man, a thief, and in my opinion a traitor to boot. That not smear, thats fact! Some day your eyes might open as well!

Agreed. With more Nancy Pelosis the liberals would be out of power for a generation or two.

I think you mean "unprincipled" and "politicians", Jimmy. The rest of your post shows that same intellectual floundering, so I'll just skip it for now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: it is impossible to tell the difference between sarcasm and liberal delusion.

Are you suggesting that the Republicans are justified in just fixating on whoever they consider to be 'in charge' of the Democratic party at any given time and demonizing that person to their base, regardless of whether that person has done anything much good or bad?

It seems to me that the Republican base is just full of hate, and they like focusing on the evils of <insert democratic name here> and going to the polls and symbolically voting against that person (in their local election where that person isn't running). They hated Obama, then Hillary, and now it's moved onto Pelosi of all people. And so we saw in the most recent election in Georgia, Pelosi being brought up by Republicans as the great evil whom they needed to vote against by voting against the local democrat Ossoff. Whereas when Ossoff was asked about Pelosi his response was (I paraphrase) "Who cares? I haven't spent even 5 minutes thinking about her." Republicans seem to care waaaaay more about the democrat leadership than democrats do.

Yes and no. No, in that she stood for pretty much everything conservatives didn't want. Yes, in that getting what conservatives didn't want made her the minority leader.

Many Democrats wanted her in power back then -- now, not so much!

After Georgia election loss, Democrats are turning anger to Nancy Pelosi

After four close-yet-devastating losses in the 2017 special elections, Democrats have begun to express doubts in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s ability to help the party retake control of Congress.

Speaking to reporters following Jon Ossoff’s loss in the Georgia Sixth, Democratic congressmen said that Pelosi’s reign was hampering their chances of winning. Republicans and GOP donors made ads during the heated campaign that explicitly tied Ossoff to Pelosi’s leadership.

“It makes it a heck of a lot harder,” Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, said of Pelosi’s stature in GOP ads. “That approach still has a little bit of punch to it. It still moves voters.”

Ryan, who ran a bid to usurp Pelosi’s leadership role after the 2016 elections, said that regular voters no longer feel connected to the Democratic Party.

I think you’d have to be an idiot to think we could win the House with Pelosi at the top,” Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, said, per Politico. Vela had supported Pelosi in her leadership race against Ryan. “Nancy Pelosi is not the only reason that Ossoff lost. But she certainly is one of the reasons,” he said.

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

                              I did and didn't.

I did because she provided entertainment value with all of the stupid things she said and did, and she helped keep the democrats reputation in the toilet. I didn't because without people like her and Waters, the democratic party might actually become a useful party and be able to work together with the republicans and accomplish some good things.

Come on Jim! You guys can do better than people like her! She is completely clueless. It's like you guys elected your crazy Aunt Betty with all the cats to run congress.
