Re: Is anybody else disturbed by this..
I posted this because this morning I picked up a sock off the floor, thinking it was the one in my shoe and put it on to go to the restroom. I ended up going back to bed without washing my hands after I touched it, because I didn't know until I was already in bed that it was on the floor, and I probably stepped on it with my shoe with everything that I stepped on outside on it. So whatever was on it is on my bed now, and all over, and I swallowed it in my sleep.
It made me mad that I left that sock laying there and because earlier that night my pants leg touched the side of a bag that touched the floor, so I threw it in with the dirty clothes.

I know, I wanted to do that, but other people come in with their shoes on, and the people that laid the carpet and everything had their shoes on, so there's already stuff from outside on the floor. I never walk around without my shoes on.
My brother and sister in law take their shoes off when they come in their apartment.

I'd rather be made into a pencil than cut into, pumped full of formaldehyde, stuffed into a narrow box, then buried in the cold, dark, dank earth to putrify and serve as a buffet/breeding ground for creepy crawly critters.
O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams.

Burn me to ashes and turn the carbon into a diamond. And, using forgotten arcane lore of Fëanor, fill me with the light of Telperion and Laurelin and call me the Fourth Silmaril.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'
