In case you never understood where people were coming from
With the idea that a big, messy complicated universe was a mark against Special Creation or just want to look at something really really (really really really) cool, check this out
http://www.scaleofuniverse.com/
From planck length to the entirety of the visible universe (and beyond) all in one scalable image, very cool. Like a more indepth version of this awesome XKCD strip, Height.
Found this shortly after reading Richard Carriers Interview with some Christian site called The Best Schools where he said,
It's some sort of Conservative Christian degree finder place that looks to be a pretty nifty place if your looking to find a Christian Grad School Apologetics Programs or find out who they think The Top 50 atheists are, overall pretty cool.Last edited by Jaecp; January 14th 2012 at 10:55 PM.

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

Re: In case you never understood where people were coming fr
If one understands the real identity of God, then it is explicit that there is nothing without God. And nothing does not exist. But typicall the uncaused self existent existence is not recognized to be God. (Reference the meaning of the Hebrew Name of God.)
Truth originates with God.
Belief originates with truth.
Reason is based in one's beliefs.
"There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Self Existent Existence." -- Proverbs 21:30.
"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; . . . " -- The Apostle Paul - Acts 17:28.
". . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . ." -- Romans 1:16.
". . . the gospel . . . how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . " -- 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " -- John 3:16.
". . . as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: Who were born, not . . . of the will of man, but of God." -- John 1:12, 13.
"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: . . ." -- 1 John 5:1.
". . . and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. " -- Hebrews 8:12.

I respect that is what you believe, but it isn't really a position you are going to get much out of in a discussion with people who don't hold your beliefs. Cart before the horse, and all that/
Would love to get a conversation going, but to be on the same page I'd ask you to read the part where Carrier talks about the distinction between what a natural universe would need to create life vs a god created universe not needing that. There is more under the fold.

No wonder it is so good.
