and then resumes his nerdish-looking human form,

Seems like this upstart was trying to hook up with the Technian Liberation Front. They're a group of Technian Supremacists that believe they are the next optimal step in human evolution and want to try and overthrow their alleged 'Inferior and Squishier Oppressors.' Of course, their methods differ by the local factions (some prefer a more diplomatic route, while others take a 'no holds barred' approach). While attracting nothing but ire from the Aetherians, there are some Humans acquiring sympathy for these rebels and getting cybernetics with "TLF" engraved into them as a sign of support. Even more frightening is the underworld rumors that they've been able to find a way to turn willing Humans into Technians.

"That's not what I said, nor what I meant, it was merely a comment on how society's values change. The standard approach to interrogation by my peers and the authorities back then was to break bones or worse, far worse, and they considered me a soft touch for never doing it to a prisoner myself. The space warrior turns, a single tear rolling down his drawn features.

"Mr. Hannah, my creator, said that. He watched the ideals of human civilization crumble. He watched his studio get shut down because he refused to pander to the public's sick hunger for violence and depravity. He went to his grave believing that heroes should be held to a higher standard, an inspiration to all. A spark that keeps the fire of justice burning."

Captain Daring Dashing storms out of the building, saying simply, "I have a ship to find" as he kicks though the doors.

Falcon, seeing Captain Dashing leave so quickly, rushes outside to catch up with him and says "Hey! Where are you going?"

Captain Dashing looks for a nearby police officer who would know where his ship was taken.
