      Condemning you for what robrecht, what are you referring to? The only one that as the power to condemn you, is you.

      Don't be afraid of answering a mere question: Do you stand by your 5 false statements as I have enumerated and denied them? Or not?

      Good question. God so loved the "world." God loves sinners. But let me qualify, God loves all men, in one sense, in that He makes the sun shine on the evil and the good. But there also is a love and intimacy that is only experienced by the believer.

      How do you know for sure when God as loved you, what is the sign He gives us?

      Sign? Sorry, the only sign I have is faith in Christ, a love for God, with increasing obedience. What sign did you get?

      Actually I stand by what you said, you are going to have to be less ambiguous.

      Actually Seer, out of all I seen written here, the most disappointing thing I have seen so far was when you said, " No, no not you. Perhaps, I believe, that we need to be more direct and clear with unbelievers. That their eternal destiny hangs in the balance.” I say this because from what I have seen you write you have given an indication that you know the difference. He does not know what you are talking about, and if you think he does, tell me why you think he does?

      This is how we know God loves us.

      Hebrews 12:4-12
      Not yet unto blood did you resist -- with the sin striving; and ye have forgotten the exhortation that does speak fully with you as with sons, `My son, be not despising the correction of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him, for whom the Lord does love He does discipline, and He corrects every son whom He receives;' if correction you endure, as to sons God shows Himself to you, for who is a son whom a father does not correct?
      And if you are apart from correction, of which all have become partakers, then bastards are you, and not sons. Then, indeed, fathers of our flesh we have had, correcting us, and we were reverencing them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of the spirits, and live? For they, indeed, for a few days, according to what seemed good to them, were disciplining, but He for profit, to be partakers of His separation; and all chastening for the present, indeed, doth not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it -- it does yield. Wherefore, the hanging-down hands and the loosened knees set you up;

      Proverbs 3:11-12
      Chastisement of Jehovah, my son, despise not, And be not vexed with His reproof, For whom Jehovah loveth He reproveth, Even as a father the son He is pleased with.

      But you cannot quote me as saying the things that you claim. Now, let's try and imagine a reason why that might be ... hmmm ... thinking ... thinking ... Could it be I didn't actually say what you falsely claim? Yes, that's it! If you have trouble following this difficult logic, just prove it wrong by quoting me saying the things you attribute to me. But you cannot do this, can you? Oh, too bad! But do not fear, I will pray to God that he comfort you in your difficulty and lead you to repentance.

      Thanks, Robrecht

      Tell me St.M how do you know when a chastisement is from the Lord? What does that look like, give me an example.

      No I do not always know, but only when and after I have realized the correction (the truth is realized in me), is it even known to me. You're right, forget I said anything, do your thing man.

      Well in my case I'm often convicted in a very profound sense. It will drive me to my knees in shame, seeking forgiveness. I know why David once said he was no more than a worm.

      A worm, just as well to have said king, after all David was after God's own heart, at least he made it to worm, I am as low as the worm’s pet that he keeps on a leash in his backyard, and that’s on a good day. Mercy Mercy Mercy Lord.
