      Whiskey.

Since I'm still new the alcohol thing, I'd like to know some opinions on what your favorite whiskey is. So far, I really like Jack Daniels, Glenlivet, and Fireball (cinnamon whiskey).

And a drink. Not one I've tried, as my Russian heritage prefers vodka mixes.

They’re much less quick to explain – with any sort of precision – what they actually do believe in. At best, we’re treated to some hand-waving paired with the phrase “social construct.”.

It depends how you drink it. To drink it straight (as nature and God intended) a fine old single malt like Glenlivet is just the thing.

      Re: Whiskey.

I prefer Jim Beam to Jack. Maker's Mark is better, but pricier.

Elijah Craig I drink straight, usually with a little ice since it's somewhat stronger.

I keep a bottle of Southern Comfort (100 proof) for making Manhattans.

      And now, for music!

For the money, I prefer W.L. Weller. The Special Reserve is pretty good.

I am a big fan of Jack. I love its taste, and it has a great price.

Two drinks I like with it are Jack and Diet, and Jack and Diet Sparkling Lemonade.

If it didn't contain alcohol, I would definitely drink it on a more frequent basis.

The Glenlivet is a great whiskey for the money. Depending on your tastes single malt scotches are excellent. I like the smokier scotches. Something like Lagavulin or Laphroig. And I prefer all single malts to blends.

This is a myth perpetrated by people who don't actually understand scotch and think drinking it "up" is some sort of sign of masculinity. In reality, in most good single malts the alcohol content is so high that it can mask the true taste of the drink. So, people who really appreciate the single malts will drink their dram with a single ice cube or a single dash of water so that the true flavors emerge.

I've had Black Cherry Whiskey in Cola before (which was delicious). Aside from that, I drank some Scotch on the rocks today (not bad, actually).
