A Glory Seed Devotional
Jesus’ Words of Inspiration for you....

Are you an early riser? Do you climb out of bed while the sun still lies below the horizon?

“And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.” (Mark 1:35 ESV)

The most important thing on your agenda for a new day is to put aside your agenda and embrace the agenda of the Father. The Psalmist wrote, “This is the day the Lord has made…” While that is true the day that lies ahead will be a combination of what the Father has planned for you and whether or not you take my hand and walk the way the of Father with me.

My greatest desire is to hear you whisper before throwing the blankets off, “Jesus, today I will need you to walk with me.” Words such as those are powerful enough to bring the focus of the Father on your new day and even through the impending night.

Are you a night owl? Do you climb in bed hours after everyone else has gone to bed?

“In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.” (Luke 6:12 ESV)

As you put the day behind you and prepare yourself to put it in the past pause for a moment and dump into my empty tomb the negative baggage accumulated over past day. When you see the sun dip below the horizon and the shadows of the night creep into view remember my Spirit never rests and is always alert to ways to bless you even while the world becomes oblivious as you sleep.

My greatest desire is to hear you whisper before closing your eyes for the last time today, “Jesus, thank you for walking with me today and I anticipate walking with you tomorrow.” Words such as those are powerful enough to bring the focus of the Father on your night and next day.

Whether you are an early riser or a night owl your days and nights will be blessed as spend them with me.

24/7 you are mine!
24/7 I want to be yours! All you need do it to extend the invitation whether the sun is coming up or going down.

The SON always shines on those that love GOD!

AMEN!

====================
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
(Revelation 3:20 ESV)

Grace and PEACE,
Gary
