A tech demo that blew my mind

Awhile ago, I was telling a friend that my ideal game would be a free-roaming space sim where you can land and take off from planets or asteroids, mine or trade, engage in space combat if you like, dock at space stations, explore the interior of them, etc.....basically, I want to play Firefly. I also knew that it'd be nothing but a pipe dream as such a game would be far too expensive to make for a niche market. Well, then I saw this tech demo for a game in the making...

By the way, if you find my lower jaw, please return it to me. I lost it after it fell to the floor.

Yea, it doesn't show all the points of my wishlist, but there's enough here to pique my interest. I just thought I'd share.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'

'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Galaxy on Fire 2 kinda does that.

but it's not completely free roaming.

This one looks pretty cool. And way better that GoF2 but then it looks like it won't be a tablet game, so it should be heaps better.
