Anti-Screwball to Haven for this post:

They often mock theists while summarily dismissing arguments for theism, refusing to even look at the arguments / evidence against their views. Fundamentalist atheists often argue against the most literalistic interpretations of the Bible and the Christian faith, and then claim to have "destroyed theism." Such individuals are living proof that irrationality exists on both sides of the theist-atheist divide.

Screwball to the ... um ... gentleman* living in my building who decided it was a good idea to rev his Harley for at least 1/2 hour this afternoon at 2:30. Dude!!! It's the middle of the night for me!!!! It woke me up from around the corner, through closed windows, with 2 fans running. By the time I got woke up enough to figure out what the noise was, and got dressed to go tell him off, he was gone. If he does it again tomorrow, I'm gonna stick a potato up his tailpipe.

      One for the bike too.

Responding to Jaecp, Haven delivers an anti-screwball once again:

Like with Christianity and Islam, atheism is plagued by the problem of a very vocal, extremist minority (mis)representing the group as a whole.

I have studied Islam somewhat intensely over the past few years, and I have to say that Haven's position on Islam is understandable, but a little naive. True that most Muslims seem to be good people(at least in the US anyway), but the teachings are indeed the root cause of the extremists. This is something that is missed by many, because they don't know what Islam teaches, which is probably also true of most Muslims. While the extremists may be misrepresenting the group, in Islam, they aren't misrepresenting the teachings(at least not in many cases).

      derek24hudson on Crazypills2's newest video:

What a ridiculous and laughable position you end up in when trying to defend the most evil abominations, to borrow a phrase. Take a cross section of society, and ask them to defend killing the parents and brothers of a young woman, taking her away, owning her and raping her. Then, when she no longer 'pleases' you, dumping her like a used rag. Holding is an [censored] and an immoral, insensitive one at that. No, there is no length to which he will not go in attempting to preserve his position.

It's going up in a minute or two.

Once again I get to school one of these ignorant Skeptics about the virtues of modular film production. And other things too of course. (He ignored several of my most critical points. Can't imagine why....)
