Here's a real looner...
I invited him here.Robert, thank you for clarifying this because I don't really get Huller's thesis. I do agree that works like this are needed to break up open the current paradigm. Call it brainstorming.
JP Holding--I've become more aware of your existence, mostly through reviews here on Amazon. I have to say that I view you as poison. I highly doubt that anyone who can stoop to your level of vitriol can engage a cogent discussion. I'm sure you've heard this before, but just count on me to ignore your opinions. A wise person would immediately doubt the veracity of anything that pours forth from your keyboard. I notice you spoke up for Sparky, but didn't mention any of the other, suddenly silenced, aliases. Yes, you might have one stool in Sparky, but clearly you do engage in exactly the tactic you were accused of. Are you also KC James? I suspect so. How cowardly and deceitful! (I hope you are automatically informed of this post.) I take it you imagine yourself a "Christian" in some sense of the word. I was raised in the Christian faith and you, sir, are no Christian. You spout rhetoric that might led those weak of mind to think you are a Christian, but you do not hold to the ideals and model of Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Robert Price, for your work. Sorry you have to put up with the likes of Holding.

Re: April 2012 Screwballs
I have a video on my channel asking atheists what they are talking about when they say religion attacks science, holds up progress and is trying to put us back in the dark ages. As expected the only examples I get are young earth creationism (which doesn't deny science outright) and the story of Galileo. Today a stupid fundy atheist going byPurportedlyMagicJew left the phrase "Eppur si muove" on my video, which is what Galileo supposedly said at his trial. A few seconds of research would reveal that it is doubtful he even said that, but we know how little research fundy atheists do. So I did what is very predictable for me. I directed him to J.P's "Miss Dusters" video. His reply:
What I find really ironic is that he is behaving in pretty much the same way as he thinks the Roman Catholic Church behaved towards Galileo. He makes a claim. Evidence is presented against his claim. He refuses to look at the evidence and be open to correction.I fail to see your point.
Mostly because im not going to watch a video on this topic which censors opinion, ironically much like the church tried to do to Galileo.

Re: April 2012 Screwballs
Sounds like some of Galileo's colleagues at Padua including what Galileo called “the principal professor of philosophy” who steadfastly refused to even look through a telescope saying that if what they saw contradicted what they knew then it must be the result of some sort of trickery.

Re: April 2012 Screwballs
His latest comment in response to my pointing out that he is behaving like he thinks the RCC behaved towards Galileo:
He also said this about your video J.P:If i behaved like the Roman Catholic Church id be [having sex with] children and hiding behind the naziPope, theyve come on in leaps and bounds from discrediting scientists.
Its a condescending video with a [censored] irritating voice over, present your argument maturely or dont bother.
I like how you call me narrow minded while refusing to take the argument at face value and insisting on picking out little discrepancies that are totally irrelevant to the fact that the sun does not move around the earth, and the church considered this idea heresy...Last edited by ukchristian28; April 20th 2012 at 01:35 PM. Hmm yeah, probably used the same vocab word, right?
I asked him if he wanted a vid done because he was one of the kids. That ought to get him going.
Oh. Maturely. Yes, I agree. Next time I'll be sure and use a lot of f-bombs.He also said this about your video J.P:

Re: April 2012 Screwballs
I've gotten my grubby paws on a copy of Wandering in Darkness by Eleonore Stump for a few days, and it's just amazing: eighteen pages in and she's just completely demolished everything John Loftus has ever said about the problem of suffering. I would pay very good money to see them discuss the problem of suffering, because he doesn't stand a chance.
Okay, I finally have a blog.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Re: April 2012 Screwballs
Well he says he has a personal principle of not watching censored videos. That's really the reason why I have comments completely open on my own videos. No one can accuse me of being afraid of criticism or not caring about free speech. It is considered bad form on Youtube not to have a completely open comment policy. I understand your reasons for having your policy but you're always going to be accused of censorship unfortunately.
