Male - Christianprogramming android apps
Anyone here know anything about programming an android app? Is that all done in java or is some other language needed too? What are some resources that would be helpful (like forums, simulators, language environments, etc).

You will need to download the Android SDK, it has the emulators and things you will need.

you will also most likely want to grab a copy of Eclipse and the Android ADT's for it:

I'm learning Android programming using a program called Basic4Android. Depending on your background, it might be worth a look.
