The manga is still running - my guess is that his parents death won't be resolved until near the end. There is a new anime in production - evidently the first wasn't completely true to the manga - which should begin airing shortly.
It starts fairly slow as a manga but it is interesting.

Okay, I'm over it.
It's just jarring to (Spoiler alert......not that it even matters, as this fact doesn't really have any effect on the plot whatsoever) find out that the klutzy maid that breaks everything, and obnoxiously screams and wails about literally everything, after twenty one episodes of her acting this way, is actually some sort of deadeye, sniper, headhunter assassin, that can kill a squad of like, thirty guys, with ease. Seriously, just, out of nowhere. Twenty one episodes in. Never developed any further than a three minute flashback. Never even mentioned again until the very last episode.
Edit: Also, he's in the second season? I was under the impression that the main characters of the first and second season were completely different. Heck, the way the ended the first season, there was hardly any room for the main character's story to continue beyond that. Probably should have elaborated on what I meant by "finished it".
Second Edit: Yeah, I looked it up, and he 'is' in the second season. How? I don't know, I'll have to watch it.Last edited by TimelessTheist; 06-14-2014, 09:17 PM.Better to illuminate than merely to shine, to deliver to others contemplated truths than merely to contemplate.

I suspect the problem is that you are watching the anime and I'm reading the manga. Sometimes it makes no difference - and sometimes the anime really butchers the plot. In the manga (I'm not that far along, actually), the maid's a complete klutz but there's already a hint something's up (mainly, why else keep her and why the butler didn't eat her or something by now).
They did a second season, if I recall correctly but the anime I was referring to remakes the original - so it's three thus far.
In the manga, the main characters don't change - it still follows them by issue 97 (had to flip through it to subscribe)."He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot

Also, yeah, the second season's about the old characters as well. I was confused because the first episode of the second season showed another kid (Who's quite possibly the most unlikable character ever), and another demon (I think?) butler.Last edited by TimelessTheist; 06-15-2014, 07:57 PM.Better to illuminate than merely to shine, to deliver to others contemplated truths than merely to contemplate.

The manga also reveals it kinda late but does foreshadow it. Even explains why Sebastian doesn't randomly eat people, sorta. Mind you, as inept as those three were acting originally, I'm still surprised he didn't make an exception..."He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot

Naruto is coming to a close. There is only 1 villain left before the fated Sasuke/Naruto fight (if it actually happens now... ) and she is basically a god. And I SOOO wanted Madara to get his butt handed to him once and for all by Naruto. That's what

No, no, Sasuke and Naruto have to work together to end the cycle - you knew this was coming..."He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot

The potential fight between Naruto and Sasuke is a minor triviality compared to the question of when Kishimoto will get of his ass and decide that it's finally time for Naruto and Hinata to become a couple*.
*And we all know that it will be Hinata that will end up getting Naruto. Anything else would just be wrong on so many levels.Last edited by JonathanL; 06-17-2014, 10:46 AM.
