Nah, I'll just say something you hadn't considered about pets. Ever wonder how a Pomeranian would make it in the city or the wild? It wouldn't. It wouldn't because we bred them for specific characteristics, none of which would contribute significantly to its survival in either environment. Isn't that cool? We can take a powerful wolf and reduce it to the size of a fluffy wolf dinner package in mere centuries.

On this planet, the outline is given as "Epic Animal Streetfight with James Hornerish score", which provokes a suitable image. On planet clodclogs that text is apparently invisible.

Huh? There are plenty of pomeranians living very happily in cites.
Also - if you are saying people bred pomeranians from wolves you would be making things up.
But that's not even the issue, is it? You think because two dogs can give birth to a dog that looks slightly different to its parents that means some mystery animal that cannot/could not breed with dogs MUTATED into a dog through selective breeding and mutations. That is whacko land stuff.

Mutations have nothing to do with selective breeding.

Every time the geese tried to get at each other the swan would get between them. This lasted for a good 6,7 minutes until one of the geese finally flew off.

No chance they could adapt to the sewers and become the canine equivalent of rats?
