Dear Stumpie,

I come across this I wrote quite a few years ago that over the years has continued to help me prayerfully it will do that for you as well.

The Journey through Impossibilities

On the journey down the path of life, there are deep canyons in which we are unable to bridge, high mountains we are unable to cross, dark winding tunnels we cannot traverse, and wide oceans we cannot cross. A newly handicapped man finds himself in a dark un-passable tunnel and life becomes impossible. A woman sees her life filled with feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem. A young couple struggles to make a marriage and raise a family encounter a mountain of impossibilities. A wife or husband is suddenly faced with the impossible task of facing unknown health issues of their spouse. Every minute of every day we find ourselves journeying down a road not of our own choice and we are confronted with the impossible.

Limited people facing unlimited impossibilities, a formula for failure.

Limited people facing unlimited impossibilities, a formula for the power of God, for the power of teamwork.

The journey through impossibilities becomes the journey of possibilities as one walks the streets of God’s kingdom on earth. Impossible you say? God’s kingdom is not on earth you say? Think again, but do not look for streets of gold, do not look for neighborhoods where the sun always shines. Jesus Christ, the King says, “The kingdom of God has come upon you and is in you.”

The kingdom of God winds and twists through life’s impassible rough roads. The kingdom of God is one of endurance, long suffering, companionship, support, compassion, and love. In the kingdom of God you will find hands reaching out making the impossible powerless, you will find encouragement, you will find you are like a priceless rare work of art painted from a wooden cross. In the kingdom of God you will find that your life counts, that no matter what you face it will never be bigger than God. The kingdom of God goes beyond the words in this verse.

A newly handicapped man with the help of others overcomes and sees light at the end of the tunnel. A woman experiences her of feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem melt away when she discovers she is loved for who she is. A young couple discover friends and family willing to help them and the impossible becomes possible. A wife or husband discovers the help and support they need to face the task of dealing with unknown health issues of their spouse.

On life’s journey impossibilities do not cease, we can however with help become bigger than they are.

Life’s Impossible Journey’s – are but Blessings waiting for God to give to those who seek them!

God’s Favor and Blessings,
Gary
