As for OC's comments on Islam, I certainly hope that his stance isn't a common one as far as Mormons go. If it currently is, then they need to distance themselves from it as quickly as possible.

Yeah, I also noticed how he didn't know that the requirement of 4 male witnesses was to prove that the woman had been raped, and not that she had been "lewd". This guy is like a Muslim version of a certain person I used to deal with on a different site. Also, not only are the Islamic hijab's(the burka is just one version of this concept) often a head to toe covering, but sometimes the only thing allowed to be shown is a single eye(which would lead to problems with depth perception, and often there are problems with vitamin D deficiency since they don't get enough sunlight) so that she can see her way to walk around the house(Muslim women aren't supposed to be allowed outside of their own house, unless their husband, or another male relative is with them).
Sadly the most common tactic in Islam is "the best defense is a good offense", and they attack the Bible when any kind of remark is made against Islam. I have only ever seen this backfire on them, and repeatedly. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results, and I see this far too often with Islamic "apologetics".

It also means how they relate their ideas. Bart Ehrman's Did Jesus Exist? is not scholarly; it is a popular work. And I say that as one who agrees with its overall conclusion.
