      Re: May 2012 Screwballs

This may come as a surprise to everyone but I am nominating Ed Babinski for an antiscrewball. Yes, an antiscrewball. He commented on my video where I defend J.P's channel rules and me managed to say it all in one comment. I would have excpected at least 5 comments at once from him.. Here's what he said:

I have been watching J.P. Holding since about 1995 when he began spewing forth a river of insults to authors of The Jury Is In [a chapter by chapter critique of Evidence That Demands a Verdict]. JP never linked back to the pages or people he was criticizing. Though I do think he learned a little from that as well as from things he read later as to why citing OT prophecies as proof of Jesus' messiah-ship was a questionable apologetic that even he warns people against using today.

I just listenined to an RZIM Just Thinking Series by Amy Orr-Ewing (parts 1,2,3,4) and in the 4th part she comments that she used to battle a bit with the concept of a Loving God also being a judge. Until she and her husband started pastoring a church in a very rough part of London. She tells a story that happened to a woman who goes to a friend's church where this woman, who used to a be a prostitute and since being saved has married a Christian man, was walking to church and was kidnapped by her former pimp and drugged and seriously abused for four days (she says she has similiar stories from her own church but told this one as it keeps it more anonymous for privacy). She says through seeing things like that she now understands that a Loving God has to be the Judge.

I think I've got it. He reminds me of FarEastBird. It's that snobby, flippant arrogance that reminds me of him.

Bart Ehrman makes some blunders, and misrepresents Dan Wallace:

      Dan Wallace responds:

      Crab Battle
      noun
Words uttered to incite an all in brawl. Whoever says the words 'Crab Battle' will usually be spear tackled to the ground by anyone else present, and all parties will then engage in a fight to the death.

IMO, he hasn't been in anything remotely funny or entertaining since Happy Gilmore.
