Parents Must ‘Squash Like A Cockroach’ The Gay Out Of Kids
http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com...12/05/01/38837
Is this (in general) considered wingnuttery or not?“Can I make it any clearer? Dads, the second you see that son dropping the limp wrist, you walk over there and crack that wrist. Man up. Give them a good punch. OK? You’re not going to act like that — you were made by God to be a male and you’re going to be a male,” Pastor Harris tells his parishioners in this audio..."

Yeah. Pretty much. I don't really have a problem with pastors preaching that stuff, though (even though it is bigotry). It's their religion. Homosexuals will not enter into the kingdom of heaven. It's pretty standard dogma (as I'm sure you knew that).
It's when they start trying to put that into laws that I start having a problem with it.
Cheers,

Coming from a pro-gay website, I'm going to be suspicious until I see the entire video.

Yeah, that website was pretty gay.

He said it. And the site had audio. It doesn't matter that it's demonstrably all gay n that. There's audio on this one too, anyway. Anyway, what I want to know is whether it's an extreme stance or a commonly accepted one amongst mainstream Christians, because I genuinely don't know.

"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

That's pretty silly. Not all boys like or are fit for things our culture considers masculine. I grew up as a slobby male with no stereotypical gay traits (except maybe no interest in and enjoying musicals..) and a friend of mine was what people would call an effeminate "sissy" and he's had plenty of girlfriends. Actually he was the person who introduced me to musicals

I think it's fair to say that I can't envision anybody in my church defending this sort of viewpoint.

We would take issue with an imam preaching to others to suicide bomb. I see no difference in a pastor preaching to others to abuse their children. There's a difference between preaching about your beliefs and directly telling people over whom you have influence to commit a crime.
