      Skyrim Journal/Blog idea

I had thought of doing this before, but with Sir-Think-A-Lot doing a Fallout 3 journal/blog, I think I want to do the same idea with Skyrim. First, I wanted to get some ideas from you guys, if you're interested.

I haven't made the blog yet or anything, and not sure when I'd start.

I was thinking of doing a Nord who sides with the Stormcloaks. I'd probably do one handed weapons with a shield. I'm open to any other suggestions though. There are some races I've never played, and would you guys prefer a certain type of build as well? This is mainly to get an idea of interest and what people would like to read about.

I think it's a great idea, and since I enjoy writing it should be interesting to me as well as anyone who would want to read it.

Also, thanks Sir-Think-A-Lot for inspiring me to really do something like this.

      Re: Skyrim Journal/Blog idea

I met a pirate near Solitude named Sparko. He was oddly enough not trying to rob me, but attempting to sell me bacon. I figured I would go ahead, and gave the 100 gold he wanted for the "freshest bacon in all of Skyrim". He also mentioned something about joining Theologyweb; I asked when that was and he said it was a guild involving the discussion of the gods (he said any worshipper of the 9 Divines would be allowed to join). He gave me a card and I'll go check out this guild when I have the chance.

After he left, I noticed that for some reason, I was missing several items. DARN PIRATE!!!!!!

You've got to wonder about who is leaving all of that bacon around down range.

You are welcome. Since I havent played Skyrim I cant give any specific advice for playthrough(sorry). I'd be interested in seeing an anti-hero character, the kind of character who does the right thing(most of the time), but for all the wrong reasons.
      OBJECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could make a mod that would allow you to recruit NPC twebbers as companions/followers

That's a great idea...except I don't have it for the PC. :P As far as anti-hero, I hadn't considered that. I have decided to go with my Nord character, and have written the first day. I have yet to put it on a blog because I'm trying to think of a good blog name. I might have to go with something generic. It's a long game, but playing it as the character and not just goofing around changes things. Not sure how he'll go, but maybe that is a good thing.

      Re: Skyrim Journal/Blog idea

I finally got it started. I apologise for the first entry being a wall of text, and I'm not sure why it is. The only thing I can think of is it is due to the fact that I copied and pasted all the text from an email rather than typing it in to wordpress to begin with. The introduction I typed in the same blog has a spaces correctly. I'll have to type it into the blog from now on. Whoops! Anyway, any feedback would be welcome for future entries etc.

I created a spell last night that makes a tiny wooden puppet with a large axe appear and start chopping up enemies. You can cast it from a thousand feet away. So you can be up on a mountain ledge and cast it into a town you're looking at. In the distance you'll start seeing fireballs, guards running, and hearing people shout as the puppet starts attacking people down there

Last night I instigated a war between imperials and stormcloaks. I spawned some imperial soldiers in the middle of ulfric's throne room. They kept defending themselves from wave after wave of stormcloak attacks. They ended up taking control of the throne room. I wanted to see if I could clear them out so I spawned a mammoth. But it just walked around eating things off the floor while the guards and soldiers fought
